The winners of the Grand Awards were announced at Pacific Coast Builders Conference today and Jefferson Square was declared the 2015 recipient in the category of Best Affordable Housing Community (30 to 60 dwelling units / acre).  The project is located in the Jefferson Park neighborhood of Los Angeles and was completed in November of 2013.  Pacific Empire Builders built this project for developer Thomas Safran and Associates.  The project architect was William Hezmalhalch Architects.

Pacific Empire Builders obtained its final approvals for Geneva @ Hughes today.  The project is a 27-unit, market rate apartment building, located in Palms, CA. The project is immediately adjacent the Palms Station of the soon to be completed Exposition Line extension.  

The project was developed for Geneva Street Partners and is NOW LEASING!

Pacific Empire Builders commenced construction today on its third parking lot facility for Enterprise Rent A Car at LAX.  

The 2.5 acre project is located immediately adjacent to a 4 acre lot (Bellanca Facility) completed for Enterprise in 2011.

The Blackbirds Small Lot Subdivision project, currently under construction by PEB in Echo Park, was recently featured in the Los Angeles Times.  The project is being built for Los Angeles based developer Local Construct.

The City of Los Angeles Office of Historic Resources declared Jefferson Square the winner of the 2014 Historic Preservation Overlay Zone Award (HPOZ) in the category of New Construction / Infill / Mixed Use.  The project is located in the Jefferson Park HPOZ and was completed in November of 2013.  Pacific Empire Builders built this project for developer Thomas Safran and Associates.  The project architect was William Hezmalhalch Architects.

Pacific Empire Builders commenced demolition on Ventura Canyon Phase II, a 34-unit market rate apartment project in Panorama City for its sister company Serrano Development Group.  The project is projected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2015.

The City of San Bernardino awarded Pacific Empire Builders (PEB) a Certificate of Occupancy for its conversion of a former big-box retail building into offices for the County of San Bernardino Department of Children and Family Services.   PEB completed this project for affiliate developer and sponsor Serrano Development Group (SDG).   The 42,000 square foot office building on 4.21 acres, is located in the heart of San Bernardino, immediately adjacent to the Inland Center Mall and served by the new $100M Omnitrans sbX E Street Corridor Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project, the first-of-its-kind express service to be constructed in the Inland Empire.  This project represents the fifth ground-up or acquisition/rehab project for the County of San Bernardino by PEB and SDG in the past five years.

Pacific Empire Builders commenced grading on Blackbirds, its 18-unit Small Lot Subdivision project for developer Local Construct.  The project is projected to be completed in the first quarter of 2015.

Pacific Empire Builders was selected to build the Geneva @ Hughes Apartments in Palms, CA.  The project is a 27 unit market rate apartment project, located in close proximity to the Palms Station of the new Exposition line, which connects Culver City to the Santa Monica Pier.  Pacific Empire Builders was hired by 9495 Rembert Lane, LLC.  The project architect is Hochhauser Blatter Architecture and Planning.
